1. How does Evelyn hear music?
Ans- Evelyn uses her mind and body to hear music. She can feel the higher drum above her waist and lower drum below her waist.
She herself explains that her every part of her body responds to music. Whenever the music is played, it causes a slight stinging sensation in the skin, her cheekbones and even in her hair.
When she plays the xylophone, she can sense the sound passing up the sticks into her fingertips; and when she leans against the drums, she feels the echoes of sounds flowing into her body.
In order to feel the sound, she performs on a wooden stage without wearing anything on her legs so that she can feel the vibrations pass through her bare feet and up her legs.
