Letter for not attending engagement party.

You have received an invitation to an engagement party but it is impossible for you to attend it right a later to your friend explaining your reasons.

I hope this letter finds you in the best of health. I received your letter yesterday , and became glad to know that you are safe and healthy.

I became very glad to know about yo engagement party, but it is impossible for me to attend it. The reason is that one of my relatives has also invited me for the same, and on same date. I will be in Delhi when your engagement ceremony is going on.

Therefore, I hope you will understand my issue and will not take it to your heart.
