It is the utmost need of the contemporary world to organise simple weddings as they will not only save a lot of wealth but also keep our environment clean. 

The wedding that involves vulgar display of wealth affect our society to a great extent. This type of arrangement creates noise pollution as well as makes the surrounding dirty. It also creates traffic jam during procession. All this can be managed if we organise a simple wedding for our son or daughter. 

The people think that they, by the vulgar display of wealth creates impression on their friends or relatives, This belief is absolutely wrong. They are praised in front but criticised behind. It is also a Kind of wastage of money. 

In my opinion, the government should also take some initiatives to promote simple weddings. As the responsible citizens of our country, it is our duty to encourage people the need to have a simple wedding as far as possible.
