You Can’t Be That

Word Meaning 

1. Nook → corner.

He searched for his shoes in every nook of his house.

2. Crannies -a small opening in a       wall

 A small plant began to in a grow from the cranny.

3. glade → an open area in a forest.

 → Some animals were grazing in the glade.

4. Ambition → the desire to do something. 

-> His ambition is to become a doctor.

1. What are the things the speaker wants to be ? 

Ans : The speaker wants to be a tree, an ocean or  a range of mountains.    

3 What is the mountain range full of?

Ans: The mountain range is full of nooks , crannies, valleys and mountains. 

4 What according to the adults do children grow up to be ?

Ans- According to the adults children grow up to be at least one of the things they want them (children) to be. be

5. What are the things that the adult do not realise?

Ans: The adults do not realise that he is a magician among them ; that if he wants he can be a glade in which unicorns still play ; and that if he wishes he can be a stable also.
