Word-meaning
1. Dog-eared - used so much that the corners of the pages are turned over.
The pages of the book is dog -eared.
2. Browser - A person who looks through the pages of a book.
many browsers are present in the library.
3. Twiddling -moving or turning something around with one's fingers many times due to nervousness.
4. Hibernate - remain in good condition
Books hibernate if it is kept in covers.
5. Spine - the part of a book that the pages are for send on to.
The spine of the book is damaged.

Ans- A book can be like a goldfish as it is also colourful and glows and swims in the bowl of our imagination.

 6) In this poem, books have been compared to various pets. In what ways do you think can books be better than pets?

Ans- I think books can be better than pets as they do not require anything to control them where as pets require leashes to control them.
